The Spanish Water Dog Club held it’s annual open show on Sunday 2nd September 2012 at the prestigious Kennel Club Building in Warwickshire.
We excitedly packed ourselves into the car when most sensible folks were still fast asleep, and headed up-country to attend our favorite show of the year!
The Spanish Water Dog Club Show is a great day out! Lots of wonderful Spanish Water Dogs and the chance to catch up with all our friends and SWD family.
This year the atmosphere was amazing with a great sense of unity and camaraderie! All three entered, and we were very proud of both our girls, but it really was Teto’s day to shine, and shine he did!
We would like to thank the judge, Sheila Burditt, for writing such a glowing critique.

Maravilla Latigo de Ubrique – Mrs Sheila Burditt
Robust 6 1/2 year old. Strong head with correct foreface, correct ear and lenght of neck, well angled shoulder and upperarm. Stood over his front perfectly. Depth of chest, lenght of rid all in good order. Plenty of muscle tone, good bend of stifle and lovely short hock which eh used to advantage. Not the biggest of boy, but what he lacked in size he made up in quality. Movement was true both ways, topped off with a corded coat of good texture. (Best Dog)
